Young Stars

Young Stars is a campaign started by young people from the London Borough of Newham. They have created a Peace Pledge for young people who wish to avoid gang memberships and the violence associated with them.

Young Stars, who are now supported by Catalyst in Communities, are working in partnership with Peace One Day to get the Peace Pledge signed by as many people as possible in all 5 Olympic Boroughs by Peace Day 2012- the day of Global Truce

aware Yet? ManifestoThe aware Yet? Campaign began as a guerilla marketing exercise during the Social Enterprise World Forum 2011 in Johannesburg.
The campaign aimed to affix a sticker with the characteristic eyes of the campaign onto every participant at the event, in recognition of the youth  unemployed in South Africa.Cogito now distributes these stickers to affix on mobile phones in the UK – watch out for them.3 million young people are now unemployed in South Africa and nearly 1 million in the UK, countries with similar populations.

Aware Yet is now being promoted in the UK.
