Professional Experience His skills and experience include brand building, develop programmes to attract, engage and convert new clients, as well as using innovative web technologies, including social media tools to engage in effective dialogue with stakeholders.
Martin also possess extensive marketing management experience within the IT sector having worked for a multinational IT manufacturer and a global talent management SaaS vendor where he was responsible for managing the introduction of innovative new technologies into the marketplace.
More recently Martin was Marketing Manager Knowledge Dock, the University of East London’s research and enterprise unit, where he was responsible for marketing the University’s intellectual property and business engagement strategy. In addition, Martin was instrumental in developing the University’s entrepreneurship and employability strategy, and he was the architect of the entrepreneurship competition that was rolled out across London universities.
His research interest includes the use of intelligent systems to provide career guidance and matching for graduates. Fluent in Cantonese and conversational in Mandarin, he has good contacts in Hong Kong and Shanghai and he possesses an extensive network of London based SMEs.
